Avocado Toast

Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (whole grain or your choice)
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 lemon (juiced)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional toppings: cherry tomatoes, red pepper flakes, olive oil, feta cheese, poached egg
Instructions
- Toast the bread slices to your desired crispness.
- Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a fork. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Spread the mashed avocado evenly onto the toasted bread.
